2nd Minnesota Monuments at Chickamauga
The 2nd Minnesota erected a few monuments to show their various positions during the battle. Here is a sampling.
If memory serves correctly this is in Kelly Field. On Snodgrass Hill: Along the road to Reed's Bridge:
My uncle Arnold Cochran was killed on 20/SEP/1863 in the battle of Chickamauga. His name is on the monument. I have seen a picture of it with his name but I can not find it now.
